GRACE’s Radisson Hotel Kitchen Project in Zimbabwe

PROJECT UPDATE · FIVE-STAR HOTEL KITCHEN SOLUTIONS
From kitchen planning and equipment specification to installation, handover and operational support.
PROJECT SUMMARY
GRACE Kitchen Equipment is undertaking a Radisson hotel kitchen project in Zimbabwe. The project is in progress. Based in Foshan, China, GRACE provides commercial kitchen equipment and a coordinated hotel kitchen service: CAD and 3D layout design, equipment and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) coordination, custom stainless steel fabrication, manufacturing, export logistics, installation and after-sales support. Completed references include the 360 m² Akwa Ibom International Hotel kitchen in Nigeria and the 460 m² Ridge Cabin Resort kitchen in Kenya.
GRACE is the brand of Guangdong Grace Kitchen Equipment Co., Ltd. Our hotel proposals connect the foodservice brief, equipment package and site responsibilities, giving owners, chefs and consultants a clear basis for reviewing the planned kitchen.
01 / THE DECISIONS BEHIND A MAJOR HOTEL KITCHEN
What hotel owners need the kitchen partner to resolve
A major hotel kitchen brings production, storage, staff movement and building services into one operation. For owners, chefs, consultants and procurement teams, the proposal needs to answer practical questions about opening readiness, scope, service demand and support.
| Your project concern | GRACE’s response | What your team can review |
|---|---|---|
| Opening readiness | Coordinate design approval, production, shipment and site installation around the hotel programme. | Agreed milestones, approval points and site-readiness responsibilities. |
| Budget and scope clarity | Link the layout to an itemised equipment quotation, with included services and exclusions identified. | Models, quantities, specifications, delivery terms and the treatment of scope changes. |
| A kitchen that fits the service | Plan preparation, cooking, holding and washing around the menu, outlet mix and peak service periods. | CAD layouts, 3D views and equipment capacities against the foodservice brief. |
| Smooth site coordination | Provide equipment dimensions and utility information for coordination with appointed building-service specialists. | Connection schedules, access requirements and an agreed division of installation work. |
| Support after opening | Connect commissioning and operator instruction with warranty, technical support and spare-parts arrangements. | Handover information, support contacts and the agreed service terms. |
This gives your team a way to identify missing scope, resolve equipment and service interfaces earlier, and prepare for operation. The project proposal turns those priorities into defined deliverables and responsibilities.

03 / EQUIPMENT FOR THE COMPLETE OPERATION
Bring every kitchen zone into the equipment plan
A five-star hotel kitchen needs a balanced equipment package across production and supporting areas. GRACE develops hotel kitchen proposals around the layout, menu and service requirements, bringing each working zone into the equipment plan.
| Kitchen zone | Equipment planning | Operational purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Receiving and storage | Receiving benches, shelving, cold rooms and freezer storage | Connect incoming deliveries with organised ingredient storage. |
| Food preparation | Worktables, sinks, food-processing equipment and refrigerated counters | Give different preparation tasks suitable workstations and access to ingredients. |
| Main hot kitchen | Ranges, combi ovens, fryers, griddles and bulk-cooking equipment | Match cooking methods and production capacity to the menu and service demand. |
| Bakery and pastry | Mixers, ovens, dough equipment, workstations and tray trolleys | Support the products made in-house and their preparation and baking sequence. |
| Buffet and dispatch | Holding equipment, service counters and transport trolleys | Connect production with restaurant, buffet, banquet and room-service handover. |
| Dishwashing and pot wash | Dishwashers, sorting tables, sinks and clean storage | Organise used-item returns, washing and the onward movement of clean items. |
SUS304 fabrication, 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm sheet options
GRACE offers custom SUS304 stainless steel fabrication with 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm sheet options for specified components. Worktops, sinks, shelving and cabinets are detailed around the approved layout and component design. The fabrication schedule records which material grade and thickness apply to each part.
| Specification | What GRACE can provide | What is confirmed before order approval |
|---|---|---|
| SUS304 stainless steel | SUS304 fabrication for the designated worktop, sink, cabinet or workstation components. | Material grade, component coverage, finish and the approved fabrication drawing. |
| 1.2 mm / 1.5 mm sheet | 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm sheet options, selected to suit the specified component construction. | Thickness by part, dimensions, supports and construction details. |
| CE-marked equipment | CE-marked options for applicable equipment model selections. | The exact model and configuration, with the applicable conformity documentation identified for review. |
CE documentation matched to the selected equipment
GRACE can include CE-marked equipment options where required and applicable to the selected models. The equipment submittal should identify the quoted model, electrical configuration and corresponding conformity documentation, including the applicable EU declaration of conformity. These details are reviewed against the selected equipment and project requirements before approval.
04 / KEEPING THE PROJECT COORDINATED
Resolve the interfaces before they reach the site
The value of a complete service lies in keeping the brief, drawings, equipment and site work connected. GRACE uses the project proposal and design review to make those interfaces visible to the people responsible for them.
- Before manufacturing: agree the layout, equipment specifications, materials and utility information, with the relevant project-team approvals.
- Before shipment: review packing, unloading access, equipment entry routes and site readiness alongside the delivery programme.
- Before handover: coordinate the agreed installation and commissioning work, operator instruction and support information.
This approach addresses the coordination gaps that can otherwise leave an appliance without a suitable connection, a delivery without usable access, or the operations team without clear handover information.

A proposal your whole project team can evaluate
Owners need scope and programme clarity; chefs need a workable kitchen; consultants and contractors need coordinated technical information. GRACE brings these requirements into the same proposal and review process.
- Owners and developers: a defined kitchen scope, an equipment package aligned with the hotel concept and clear project milestones.
- Executive chefs and operations teams: a layout that can be reviewed against the menu, preparation methods, service routes and cleaning needs.
- Consultants and contractors: equipment dimensions, connection information, access requirements and an agreed division of site responsibilities.
- Procurement teams: itemised models, quantities, material specifications, included services and documented commercial terms.
This gives the project team a practical basis for approving the layout, agreeing the supply specification and assigning site responsibilities. GRACE works with your drawings and foodservice brief to make those decisions concrete.
